Originally from New Jersey, Sue has lived in Savannah since 1997. She began to practice yoga in March 2008 and quickly felt its positive impact on her mind, body, and spirit.

Sue graduated from the Savannah Yoga Center’s Teacher Training program in 2009. It is Sue’s desire to share this gift that she has received and to create a healing and peaceful space for her students.

Sue’s mission is to empower students of all levels and ages with practical stress reduction tools. She guides students to increase awareness of body, mind, and spirit, and encourages a practice of self compassion. Sue cultivates a vibrant but peace-filled, non-competitive and non-judgmental, learning and practicing environment.

In addition to teaching yoga, Sue holds a Master’s degree in Marine Biology. She served the University of Georgia for ten years in the husbandry department at the Savannah aquarium on Skidaway Island. Sue is also a Reiki Master Practitioner.
