Maggie first discovered yoga, at just shy of fourteen years old, by
practicing along to Rodney Yee videos with her Dad. It was great
cross-training for a very competitive swimming career at the time.
After deciding to take time off from school, swimming and water polo
fell from a competitive nature and yoga took a much stronger presence
in her life. This commitment eventually led to her completion of 200
HR yoga teacher training at the Costa Rica Yoga Spa in Nosara, Costa
Rica just over a year ago. She was blessed with an open calendar and a
great opportunity to continue to teach in Nosara and was even able to
serve as an assistant on another teacher training under Ashley Ludman.
Though yoga is a great passion of hers, she feels it best serves the
soul when consciously interwoven into all parts of an existence,
allowing life to make play as its own masterpiece. She enjoys a host
of creative activities, including DJ-ing, painting, photography, and
sculpture, and is happy to split time between going to concerts and
the beach. She is very interested in themes of love, truth,
convention, mortality (or lack thereof), interaction and
manifestations of human duality
